OUR PROCESS

There is much more to a successful renovation than simply the ability to perform the work.  Each project we undertake is subject to the same business procedures / practices, our proposals are transparent and fully explained upon presentation.

Initial inquiry and evaluation of request:
We can be contacted via our website, phone or email. Once we determine the nature of the project we can assess if we can effectively take on the project.  After this is determined, a site meeting is required to determine the scope, project details & budget.
Cost – none

Written Estimate / Proposal:
Once the project has been assessed a written proposal will be provided for the scope of work, with budget figures shown for items that are yet to be selected.
Cost - none

Contract / Deposit:
Upon deciding to proceed, the contract will be presented, reviewed and a deposit cheque will be collected.
$$$ - required

Plans / Drawings / Permit Process:
Depending on the nature of the project / scope of work a designer may be required, in which case we will supply one.  Please note that drawings are generally required for building permit submissions as well.
$$$ - required

Project planning / Project start:
Once the permit process is completed, we will once again review the project in detail, including timelines, payment schedules etc. and the work will commence
$$$ - required
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

We highly recommend Guardian Contracting.

Jason and Rick have done four projects for us over the past three years including three bathrooms, an entry way, and a drywall and flooring project in a basement bedroom. Guardian were initially recommended to us by family and business acquaintances, and we have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work and the working relationship with Jason, Rick and their helpers on all our projects. They were very approachable and professional at all stages of the work and completed each project on time and within our cost range. We came to view them as both trusted partners, and established a working friendship with them through our projects.

Thank you Guardian. M & R - Whitby
